Inviting Your Team (Quick Take)
In a nutshell Team invites let you share your project workspace with colleagues.
Everyone gets access to the same chats, files, and context — keeping your team aligned.
Why It Matters Solo projects are great, but team projects unlock collaboration. Everyone works from the same context, shares insights, and builds on each other’s conversations with AI. Example What is Team Collaboration in Projects?
What is Team Collaboration? Team collaboration transforms projects from personal workspaces into shared environments where multiple people can contribute, discuss, and benefit from collective AI conversations.
Why It Matters Team projects solve coordination challenges:
Shared context — everyone works from the same files and background
Collaborative chats — team members can participate in AI conversations together
Aligned outputs — AI responses are consistent because everyone uses the same project knowledge
Team collaboration isn’t just about access — it’s about collective intelligence amplified by AI.
How to Invite Team Members
Open Project Settings
Navigate to your project and click the settings menu (⚙️).
Go to Members Tab
Select the “Members” section in project settings.
Choose Invitation Method
Pick between email invitations or shareable invite links.
Send Invitations
Add email addresses or copy the invite link to share with your team.
Two Ways to Invite Email Invitations
Invite Links
Best for: Specific team members you know personally.
Send direct email invitations to individual addresses
New users: Receive setup email and account creation flow
Existing users: Project automatically appears in their workspace
More secure: You control exactly who gets access
Best for: Broader teams or when you need flexibility.
Generate a shareable link anyone can use to join
Faster sharing: Copy/paste into Slack, emails, or documents
Self-service: Team members join when convenient
Flexible: Share with people whose emails you don’t have immediately
Team Roles & Permissions
Full control over the project workspace:
Manage all shared chats and files
Add/remove team members
Configure project settings and instructions
Archive or delete the project
Collaborative access with some boundaries:
View and participate in all shared chats
Upload files to the project library
Create new collaborative conversations
Cannot: Delete others’ content or change project settings
Collaboration Benefits Perfect Project Setup → Team Alignment:
Owner creates focused project with relevant documents
Owner tests AI conversations to validate outputs and approach
Owner invites team members to share the refined workspace
Team collaborates with consistent context and proven AI interactions
Test your project setup solo first, then invite your team to a proven, well-organized workspace.
Tips & Best Practices Use descriptive project names before inviting — “Marketing Q4” is clearer than “New Project #3.”
Upload key documents before inviting team members. A well-stocked project library makes collaboration more effective immediately.
Team members can’t manage each other’s individual chats, but they can participate in any shared conversations.
Why It Fits Into Ephor Team collaboration amplifies Ephor’s core value: contextual AI conversations . When your team shares the same project knowledge, AI becomes a multiplier for collective intelligence rather than individual productivity.
